Monthly Prayer Service

                  Worship Committee News from Sam Hopper

The first monthly prayer service was held on May 7, 2006.  Worship music was provided by a youth Praise Team led by Cindi Miller.  They did a terrific job, singing to the music and inspirational backgrounds on the I-Worship DVD’s that were recently purchased by the Worship Committee.

Sam Hopper presented a message on the major lesson the Lord taught him during the recent Cambodian mission trip by a team that included him and Mike Short.  After the message, Pastor Glatz and Pastor Whitsel served communion to those in attendance.

The prayer time consisted of the pastors and elders in attendance praying quietly for several people who came forward to ask for prayer for themselves or others.  Others prayed silently at their seats during this time.

The second prayer service will be held on June 4, 2006.  The youth choir will again be leading the congregation in music at this service.  There will not be a Sunday evening prayer service in July or August.  Please plan on joining us on June 4, 2006 at 7:00 PM to worship our God and to bring any prayer concerns before him.
