Come on over for a grand play date in our backyard at
Union Church where kids will learn the enjoyment of service! Each day
the children will gather into small groups and travel from the
Backyard Bash around to our community centers. They will hear Tree
House Tales from the Bible, sing and play at Backyard Sing-a-Long,
race on over to Fun-in-the-Sun Recreation, relax and share snack from
Community Cafe, and get creative at Clothesline Creations!
Throughout the week, the children will have several
opportunities to demonstrate Jesus’ love through giving and service to
their families, friends, neighbors, communities. They will make
crafts to give to others, collect items from home to donate to those
in need in our community, and each day be challenged to serve after
leaving VBS.
The week is packed full of fun and we want every child
to have a great time. Be sure to send your child/children in
comfortable clothing, safe shoes, and sunscreen if needed. Plenty of
water will be supplied.
Come on over for fellowship and fun to our Block Party
on Friday June 20th beginning at
11:00am for the
Closing Program, followed by a “barbeque” lunch in the fellowship
hall.
