Missions-Welcome back Angel Tree!

The Mission committee would like to welcome back the Angel Tree. If you are not familiar, the Angel Tree program helps to minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of families of prisoners.

Angel Tree connects parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts. The church members volunteer to purchase and deliver gifts to the children on behalf of the Prison-Parent. We will be the hands and feet of the Prison-Parents and help them reach out to their children.

Each child receives one "fun" gift and one gift of clothing. The gifts are valued at $15-$20. If you don't like to shop, you can purchase these gifts online at www.angeltree.org . When you purchase from this site 4% goes to Angel Tree.

In the past we have Given a $25 Giant Eagle gift card to the family as a gift from our church. We would like to continue this tradition. The Mission committee will supply Gospel materials for each child.

If you would like to participate you can join us on Angel Tree Sunday November, 16. If you have any questions you can contact the Angel Tree coordinators Rachel Phillips or Michelle Imler.

Please pray for this program and the families of prisoners.
